Your responsibilities- Represent the Security organization in internal and external committees, ensuring alignment with overall security objectives
- Lead overarching projects in coordination with the Security Officer, focusing on standardization, digitalization, and improvement of security processes
- Monitor, analyze, and report security metrics and incidents to the Security Officer to support decision-making and continuous improvement
- Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive security concepts for all office and site locations, taking into account NIS2 and KRITIS requirements
- Continuously identify physical security vulnerabilities and define, implement, and monitor appropriate safeguard measures
- Conduct regular audits at sites to evaluate both physical and digital security measures and ensure processes are effectively followed
- Serve as the main point of contact for advisory support across all areas of physical security, including planning, implementation, and monitoring of security measures
- Perform all ISMS-related tasks within the assigned area of responsibility, ensuring compliance with information security standards
- Act as the contact person for questions regarding information security in the assigned area, while considering related physical security aspects
- Prepare and actively participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance security processes
- Assess and ensure compliance of security measures for IT systems and building technologies, including access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems
- Support sites in emergency management readiness by planning, preparing, and conducting regular tests and exercises to maintain operational preparedness
Your profile- University degree in information technology, security technology, or a comparable field
- Relevant professional experience with a focus on security technology and risk management, including areas such as security services, physical security, loss prevention, investigations, supply chain, auditing, or compliance
- Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience with security systems, including access control, video surveillance, alarm systems, and security incident management
- Strong knowledge of ISO 27001 and practical experience with Information Security Management Systems (ISMS)
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for utilities and critical infrastructure
- Excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and proven experience in cross-departmental collaboration
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively in collaborative environments
- ISO 27001 Foundation or Practitioner certification is desirable
- Professional security certifications such as CPP (Certified Protection Professional) or PSP (Physical Security Professional) are advantageous
- Emergency management training or certification is a plus to support preparedness and testing at sites
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken, enabling clear communication of security requirements and processes
- Valid Class B driving license and willingness to travel to site locations as required
