Key Responsibilities:

- Communicate with counterparties, pipeline representatives, traders, and internal teams to confirm receipts, deliveries, and flow adjustments.
- Track and reconcile scheduled vs. actual flows, imbalances, and allocations.
- Support traders by providing timely operational insights, capacity updates, and market conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of nominations, confirmations, and operational changes.
- Assist in after-hours or weekend scheduling rotations as needed.
- Learn and apply pipeline tariff rules, scheduling cycles, and regional market dynamics.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ETRM systems is a plus. Interest in energy markets, logistics, or commodity trading.
- Willingness to work non-standard hours during peak demand periods (e.g., winter heating season, weekend coverage). Other preferred attributes include:
- Understanding of Canadian/U.S. natural gas pipeline operations or energy markets.
- Ability to interpret pipeline notices, tariffs, and operational flow orders.
- Desire to grow into commercial operations, trading support, or optimization roles.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, especially in fast moving operational environments, with a strong teamwork mindset and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize under tight deadlines.
