Your responsibilities
- During the 18-24 months trainee program, you will develop a deep understanding of Uniper’s business, its value drivers, and the business environment.
- You will learn from experts in various fields, build a network, and work on your own projects, where you can contribute your ideas.
- You will contribute to our active trainee community, receive many training courses and development opportunities, and network with the trainee community.
- You will start in our newly formed Business & Wholesale Solutions front office team (BWS FO) with focus on selling both simple and tailor-made gas and power commodity solutions for industrial customers in Germany for the first six months of your program and then rotate flexibly upon your individual career development path and interests across the organization – you design your individual placement plan and receive support from your own mentor.
- In your home unit BWS FO, you will gain insights into the sales business at Uniper Energy Sales GmbH by supporting the Sales Manager team, assisting during the complete sales process beginning with customer acquisition until contract conclusion. You will contribute to the commercial success of the Sales team and help with tender analyses, understanding customer requirements, contract preparations, offer calculations and sales pitches/negotiations including internal alignments in a complex energy market. Stakeholder management might consist of various departments, like product units, Legal, Sales IT, pricing and portfolio, trading, controlling and many more.
Your profile
• Successfully completed a Master´s Degree in Business administration, Economics, (industrial) Engineering or similar fields.
• First practical experience gained through internships and/or working student activities, ideally including intercultural experiences.
• Motivation to learn and develop in an international environment, taking the initiative and proactivity while working in various teams.
• Communication skills and the ambition and skills to network among different stakeholders paired with analytical skills.
• Fluent German and English skills are required; additional languages are a plus.
