Your responsibilities
- During the 18-24 months trainee program, you will develop a deep understanding of Uniper’s business, its value drivers, and the business environment
- You will start in the Renewables unit for the first six months of your trainee program and then rotate flexibly upon your own career development path and interests across the organization. You design your personal placement plan and receive support from your mentor
- You will learn from, network and collaborate with experts from different fields across Uniper, contribute your ideas and work on your own projects
- You will contribute to and learn from our trainee community, receive trainings and development opportunities
- In your predefined home unit Renewables in Asset Rotation & Partnering (ARP) you will actively support Uniper’s renewable growth strategy across Europe. You will gain hands-on exposure to real transactions by supporting the acquisition and sale of renewable assets, contributing to project development and valuation, and helping shape market and partnering strategies. Working closely with experienced transaction and strategy professionals, you will be involved in live projects across wind, solar and storage, from early-stage analysis through to execution.
Your profile
- Successfully completed studies in social sciences, engineering, or economics with a focus on renewable energy
- Initial practical experience gained through internships and/or work as a student employee in the renewable energy sector, ideally including intercultural experience
- Motivation to learn and develop in an international environment, as well as initiative and proactivity when working in diverse teams
- Strong communication skills, along with the willingness and ability to network with various stakeholders, combined with analytical skills
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German is a plus
