Our Trading IT Team is looking for you! Your responsibilities As the Operations Lead for Trading Integration, you oversee stability, reliability, and support operation for Middleware as a Platform. Sitting in the Middleware leadership team, your key responsibilities are: - Own and drive the end-to-end operations strategy for middleware
- Ensure seamless middleware functionality for trading and business-critical applications.
- Determine when operational improvements should be made and who is best place to drive them.
- Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime.
- Define and implement service level targets, ensuring service reliability aligns with business expectations.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication - Act as the primary contact for operations-related discussions, ensuring alignment between IT leadership, business stakeholders, and support teams.
- Provide regular updates on middleware stability, incident trends, and operational enhancements.
- Champion a culture of reliability, automation, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Monitoring, Stability & Reliability and Operational Excellence - Work closely with Site Reliability and Platform Engineers, delivery teams and support functions for shifting to predictive maintenance.
- Drive further implementation of observability, logging, and monitoring solutions for proactive issue detection.
- Foster continuous improvement and automation, self-healing capabilities and runbooks to optimize operational efficiency.
Your profile - Proven experience as an Operations Lead, IT Service Manager, or SRE Manager in a middleware, integration, or trading IT environment of 5 years.
- Strong expertise in ITIL frameworks, incident management, problem resolution, operational governance and operational excellence.
- Experience implementing observability solutions, logging frameworks, and proactive monitoring strategies.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and middleware technologies (APIs, Streaming Kafka, MQ, event-driven architectures).
- Demonstrated ability to manage L2/L3 support teams, external vendors, and offshore development centers (ODCs).
- Ability to balance operational stability, cost efficiency, and service scalability in a high-demand trading environment.
- Very good inter-personal and verbal/written English communication skills.
- Collaborative attitude and good moderation skills.
- Enthusiastic to steer, train and upskill internal and external staff.
