Operations Analyst
Your responsibilities
- Reconciliation & confirmation of all daily transactions (exchange trades, OTC trades, and brokerage fees and relevant details)
- Validate and process daily exchange and OTC margin calls
- Process payments and reconcile bank statements for receipt of daily margin calls
- Track and report KPIs in PowerBI to reduce operational issues and process improvement
- Support audit prep, internal compliance controls and operational reporting
- Assist in digitalization efforts and new system implementations / testing
- Back up other team members as necessary with settlement processes for OTC counterparties for Gas, Helium and Environmental Products
- Assist in procurement, new hire onboarding and vendor access
Your profile
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Math, Finance, Economics, or related field
- 0-5 years of working in an energy trading organization in a finance or operations role
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Customer Service - the role serves a number of customers and working proactively to relay information and meet customer needs is a key driver of business success
- Problem Solving – the business relies on numbers and identifying problems and rectifying them is critical to the success of the business and the individual
