Your responsibilities

  • Support of the LBP IT to create and execute the Business Procurement Strategy and subsequently ensuring stakeholder management and supplier engagement.
  • Manage initiatives and projects to align Procurement services and strategic supplier management with Uniper IT’s operational and strategic needs.
  • Close coordination with Uniper IT managers in order to translate their requirements into concrete aspects of the procurement strategy, procurement planning and supplier management.
  • Intensive cooperation (e.g. joint workshops) with Uniper IT to coordinate the planning of procurement activities.
  • Ensure smooth collaboration with the IT Contract & Vendor Management team to implement the Business Procurement Strategy, Contracts and Supplier Management.
  • Actively manage suppliers strategically to create value for Uniper IT (e.g. develop and ensure implementation of supplier engagement plans, identify new suppliers relevant to business strategy, supplier-based innovation, partnerships).
  • Driving specific initiatives together with the business units (e.g. sustainability, innovation, safety, cost awareness) and leveraging external networks to develop new solutions for Uniper IT.
  • Responsibility for strategic tendering, strategic sourcing operations, including specific tender strategies, supplier invitation and selection, negotiation and implementation of supplier contracts.
  • Acting as Project Procurement Lead (PPL) as the main contact person in Uniper IT projects for all procurement related topics (e.g. Tender Event Schedule, SD/FD support, ...).
  • Coordination with Procurement Management to enable optimal procurement for the business unit.

Your profile

  • University education in IT, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, comparable education, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Several years of professional experience in the energy industry and Procurement, including experience in strategic IT procurement and supplier management.
  • Proven track record in managing major procurement projects and/or tenders.
  • Extensive experience in collaborating with a wide range of contacts and integrating multiple requirements or cross-functional overlaps.
  • Ability to translate business needs into effective Procurement and supplier management strategies.
  • Solid understanding of IT Procurement strategies, technical IT concepts, and supplier market dynamics.
  • Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Experience working internationally, with cultural sensitivity and readiness to travel abroad.
  • Fluent English communication skills are essential; additional language skills are a plus.
