The Asset Security Manager South is responsible for the tactical management and implementation of physical security across Uniper's southern German sites, including thermal power plants, hydroelectric facilities, and gas storage locations. The role serves as the key interface to local site security functions and ensures the effective implementation of security standards, regulatory requirements, and protective measures.

Your responsibilities
- Implement the corporate Asset Security strategy and physical security standards across the assigned sites
- Collaborate closely with the central Asset Security, ISMS, and Corporate Security teams to introduce and further develop security policies, processes, and measures
- Advise and support local security representatives and operational organizations on all aspects of physical security
- Coordinate security risk assessments and monitor the implementation of agreed risk mitigation measures
- Support audits, assurance reviews, regulatory requirements, and compliance activities
- Manage security-related projects and protective measures, particularly in the areas of perimeter protection, access control, video surveillance, and security services
- Support the management of security incidents and crisis situations, including the identification and implementation of lessons learned
- Foster a sustainable security culture through guidance, training, and security awareness initiatives
Your profile
- University degree in a relevant discipline such as Civil Engineering, Security Management, Industrial Engineering, Facility Management, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in physical security, plant security, infrastructure security, or industrial asset protection
- Growth mindset with openness to new technologies and a willingness to continuously develop relevant skills and capabilities
- Experience working within critical infrastructure (KRITIS) environments and managing security-related projects
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and modern physical security solutions
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
