Senior Grid Engineer
Your responsibilities
- The Grid Engineering team is responsible for creating grid connection solutions for solar, wind, and battery storage projects from the conceptual design to execution across Europe.
- Contributing to the development and realization of renewables projects at all stages focusing to grid connection and substation topics.
- Undertaking engineering assessments to define technical specification, design and drawings, overall scope for contracting as well as CAPEX requirements.
- Having a profound understanding of British engineering norms, and standards, legislation, regulation, related to electrical systems and grid operation.
- Engaging with DNO/TNOs to secure and develop grid connections.
- Defining and overseeing external engineering services, as well as scope of technical contracts.
- Applying various engineering applications, e.g., Powerfactory and AutoCAD.
- Provide feedback and contribute to continues improvement in all areas.
- Flexible working arrangement including working from home and at our office’s locations in the UK but also across Europe.
Your profile
- University Degree in Electrical Engineering. (Advanced vocational qualifications and practical experienced is considered).
- Strong/In-depth experience in the field of electrical grid engineering.
- Solution orientated working, able to make high quality decisions.
- Creative, open-minded individual with good sense of humor.
- Business fluency in English.
- Independent individual and team player.
