In this role, you will be responsible for the proper receipt, inspection, storage and dispatch of goods. You will ensure a smooth flow of materials in the warehouse and support internal processes.
Your responsibilities
- Receiving, checking and recording incoming goods for quantity, quality and completeness
- Storing materials correctly, taking into account storage locations and storage strategies
- Picking orders and preparing materials
- Packaging and preparation for dispatch in accordance with dispatch regulations
- Loading and unloading of lorries using industrial trucks/overhead cranes
- Carrying out regular stock checks and assisting with stock-taking
- Internal transport of goods and materials
- Operation of warehouse equipment and industrial trucks
- Ensuring order, cleanliness and health and safety in the warehouse area
Your profile
- Completed vocational training, ideally in warehouse logistics or a related field
- Valid forklift licence
- Crane licence desirable
- Initial experience in warehouse and logistics an advantage
- Knowledge of SAP an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Meticulous, reliable and team-oriented approach to work
- Physical stamina and a sense of responsibility
- Technical understanding and a meticulous, structured approach to work
- Willingness to be on-call
- Willingness to develop professionally and participate in further training and courses
