Your responsibilities
- During the 18-24 months trainee program, you will develop a deep understanding of Uniper’s business, its value drivers, and the business environment.
- You will learn from experts in various fields, build a network, and work on your own projects, where you can contribute your ideas.
- You will contribute to our active trainee community, receive many training courses and development opportunities, and network with the trainee community.
- You will start your trainee program within the Corporate Communication and Governmental Relations department for the first six months and then rotate flexibly upon your individual career development path and interests across the organization – you design your individual placement plan and receive support from your own mentor.
- In your home unit, you will support and coordinate energy policy processes for Uniper, prepare and draft strategic assessments, position papers, presentations, memos and energy policy analyses as well as monitor legislative processes.
- Your focus of your first placement will be on establishing a thorough understanding of Uniper’s structures, activities and internal stakeholders.
- You will get a thorough insight into federal and state politics, corresponding administrations and other organizations, as well as legislative processes and their influence on Uniper.
Your profile
- Successfully completed studies in political sciences, law, economics, or business.
- First practical experience gained through internships and/or working student activities ideally in the field of Governance & Politics and including intercultural experiences, preferably within an energy-related context.
- Motivation to learn and develop in an international environment, taking the initiative and proactivity while working in various teams.
- Basic understanding of political contexts and key energy policy discussion topics.
- Good communication skills and the ambition and skills to network among different stakeholders paired with analytical skills.
- Fluency of written and spoken German and English is required.
