Your responsibilities
- Lead and manage commissioning and testing activities across multiple photovoltaic (PV) projects, including grid connection and/or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), as well as all associated electrical installations
- Plan, coordinate, and document the commissioning process in collaboration with external subcontractors and internal stakeholders, working closely with project managers and other project resources
- Support on-site signal testing activities, including verification of data completeness and validation of Performance Ratio (PR) test calculations
- Contribute during the project planning phase by providing input on electrical system concepts and support the construction phase by ensuring high execution quality
- Act as the Responsible Electrical Person for all projects, ensuring electrical safety in accordance with DIN VDE 1000-10 from project commencement through internal handover to Asset Management
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards and conduct inspections to maintain the highest levels of project quality and operational safety at all times
Your profile
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent electrical engineering qualification
- Minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience in a comparable role
- Strong technical understanding of all electrical components of PV power plants and their associated systems
- Certification as a Responsible Electrical Person in accordance with DIN VDE 1000-10, or willingness to obtain this qualification
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical standards, regulations, and industry requirements, particularly VDE and DGUV regulations
- Experience working with project management and construction software solutions, particularly within Work Package Management (WPM) environments and Lean workflows
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to effectively guide, coordinate, and motivate teams
- High willingness to travel (up to 80%, including assignments of several weeks at a time) and possession of a valid driver's license
- Languages: Professional proficiency in both English and German is required; additional European languages are considered an advantage
